Following a graceful God in a graceless world

Something about that line doesn’t make sense. Or at least something isn’t right about it. I feel like we live in a world that continues to expect more and more from us. Produce more; provide more, yet why does it feel like we fall short in our pursuit of those things? Something makes me feel like I fail more than succeed. And yet, we serve a God that has grace. He is quick to forgive. He is quick to come and encourage. So how do we balance the two? Are we to live in this tension until eternity?
